It shows up in the form of feeling confused, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, exhausted, procrastinating, and even resentful.
- “Tiff I’m not happy and I want to stop doing ____ in my business and start doing _____ but I don’t even know where to start.”
- “Ugh, I dread going to work, and I know I need to make a change but it all seems like too much and then I do nothing.”
- “I’m afraid if I leave ______ and stop doing ______ I will lose everything.” (this is what my guest on today’s pod interview said to me 2 years ago)
You are torturing yourself daily by being torn between saying comfortably uncomfortable in the life you know, while deeply yearning for the life you want…but not wanting to take the necessary risks and scary actions to get it.
It’s like you are looking through a chain link fence seeing all of these happy successful people, who have wanted, and it’s right there for you BUT you must climb over that tall fence. It looks so giant, to the point your brain tries to convince you that it isn’t possible for you.
What always helps me is hearing from people who’ve climbed that fence, and why it is all worth it. Today’s interview is pure evidence of why NOW is the time to do it, and choosing yourself is the best investment you will ever make in your life.
